The project has a strong component of methodological innovation and exploration consisting in the implementation of a SNA survey, but through the comparative analysis of two sectors and four countries it also aimed at extracting theoretical insights and open new avenues for future research. The project has paid particular attention to find the adequate way to use SNA to analyse collective bargaining processes.

Survey template: This standardized questionnaire model used to collect relational information about wage-setting processes was further adapted the to the specific conditions of each country and sector. The survey was implemented in two ways: through the online platform ‘Surveymonkey’ (during March 2019 – September 2019) and, in cases of no successful online participation, through face-to-face interviews.
